From the first day I can remember, my daddy was the biggest, most pronounced individual in my life.
He was boisterous, commanding, strong, integrious, dedicated, passionate and hardworking.
There was NEVER a day in my life when I did not know how much HE LOVED ME!
Because I was his mini-me in so many ways, when I was younger, he was also often the person I bumped heads with most.
When my father passed in July 2020, it was the darkness season of my entire life.
There was moments when I sincerely doubted I would survive my grief.
However, with the help of my faith, family, and friends, I DID!Â
Having overcome my grief, re-found my joy and allowed my memories to now fuel my purpose, I was blessed to help others during similar seasons of grief.Â
Nearly 2 years to the date later, when my friend and Soror Michelle experienced a similar grief, others and I were compelled to offer comfort, support and love.Â
You see, we were each a DADDY'S GIRL!
As a result of our experiences and the impact we had collectively and individually on each other, this anthology became the logical next step.Â
Without question, each of us wanted to not only support Michelle, but as many other DADDY'S GIRLSÂ as we could.
This book represents that love for our fathers and daughters worldwide.Â
